As I was catapulted to the very foot of the bed I realized with astonishment that I was free! The dream had been so vivid. While in prayer just before falling asleep I saw a set of tiny white shoes planted on top of a pair of huge brown walking man's shoes.Although I could not see the full picture with my eyes, I knew that the child was being held by loving arms.Through it I realized that I am one with Christ.I am to walk not beside, not behind, nor in front of Him; As a Christian I am to submit my walk totally to Him.During that same night I dreamed that I was walking in the snow on a narrow path.A giant figure was walking in front of me at a steady pace and I was dragging a small child on a sled.Suddenly I slipped and my right hand holding the long rope attached to the sled hit something.Everything was white with snow but underneath it I could discern the outline of a bear claw facing me and its muzzle touching my wrist.I could feel the warm air from its nostrils; and I felt totally paralyzed.I feared for the child as well as myself and tried to yell out to my companion, who kept right on going in a steady pace.I felt comatose.Although I could see and feel, I could not move! My eyes were riveted to the beast's muzzle.Any moment. And it would open and clamp down on my arm!Turning towards the figure now far in front of me, I attempted to scream, but no sound came out.Then.Suddenly I felt myself literally being catapulted to the bottom of the bed and woke up.The experience had been so vivid! This was such a poignant illustration of the need to walk in step with Him.That means to trust Him totally for everything you are going through. The Bible warns repeatedly and emphatically. "fear not!" Fear hampers our faith and is the opposite of love.Have you noticed that the more you focus on a hurt or mishap, the worse you feel and the more you consider yourself victimized? Fear and despair enters in and in the blink of an eye you are drawn away from the peace and love of the Lord. You have not been given a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind (2 Tim.1.7).The Bible also instructs us to renew our mind (Rom.12.2), which means to focus on His love and grace, which equips us to "do all things through Christ, who strengthens us" (Phil.4.13).In the world it is natural to fear.Predictions of gloom and doom cause many to despair. But, as a child of the Most High, you have received the free gift of grace.Christ Jesus died once and for all.He took all your sins, pain and sickness on the cross.Just believe, receive, and trust. You can't do anything to earn it or to attract His attention.God is Love, and He loves you with an everlasting love! Set your eyes steadfastly on Him, and the mountains of troubles you may be facing will soon become little mole hills.Whatever you focus on becomes your idol, and will control you! The Holy Spirit is with you always, and equips you with love, joy, peace.Everything you need to be an over comer and loose you from the grip of fear.

The Paralysis of Fear
As I was catapulted to the very foot of the bed I realized with astonishment that I was free!
